Summer Orders
	As the weather begins to warm, we must again caution against ordering cakes with buttercream frosting. These cakes do not fare well when shipped in hotter seasons. For summer ordering, we encourage the Traditional Chocolate or Chocolate Peanut Butter as these are our best shippers. Of course, for local pickup either on the island or from the ferry in Crisfield, MD., all varieties are available.

Prices

All of the traditional flavors described below are available for $25.00 plus shipping costs. Custom and specialty cakes are priced according to ingredients and any extra items, i.e.decorations, etc. and prices will be quoted on an individual basis. We ship via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise requested and all shipping rates listed on your invoice are based on those rates. For more than 4 cakes in one order or if you require a different shipping method, please designate your shipping preference and we will then send you an invoice for the correct shipping amount. For those within driving distance of Crisfield, Md., we can arrange to ship your cake aboard a local ferry for pickup at the City Dock in Crisfield.

While we will ship all flavors, bear in mind that some flavors will fare better in the shipping process. The traditional chocolate and the chocolate-peanut butter cakes are among the best shippers. We take great care in packaging to get your cake to you in "fresh out of the oven" shape.

Remember when ordering a cake for a special occasion or with a specific "need by" date to allow at least two full business days for preparation of the cake along with three (3) post office business days for shipping time (via USPS Priority Mail) in order to insure arrival of your cake in a timely manner. We ship Monday thru Wednesday, and sometimes Thursday depending on destination, but refrain from shipping on Friday and Saturday in order to avoid extended weekend layovers in a postal facility. Cakes can be shipped on a emergency basis via Overnight Mail but the shipping cost for this method is quite high, often as much or more than the cake itself.

Please be sure to proceed to the "Shipping Info" page and fill out the contact/shipping information form once you have placed your order. You can also submit any questions or special instructions there. We accept PayPal, personal check and money orders. Please be aware that if you are paying by check or money order, your order will not be prepared and shipped until payment is received.

Chocolate Whip - yellow cake with whipped chocolate buttercream frosting

Chocolate Peanut Butter - yellow cake with cooked chocolate frosting and chocolate/peanut butter filling

Orange - yellow cake with cooked orange frosting is also an island favorite

Pineapple - yellow cake with pineapple filling available with cooked pineapple frosting or whipped buttercream pineapple frosting

Pina Colada - yellow cake with whipped buttercream frosting flavored pineapple, coconut, vanilla and rum
